The Department of Climate Change and Environment (DCCE) has been established by merging Climate Change Management and Coordination Division from The Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP) with the Department of Environmental Quality Promotion (DEQP).

DCCE acts as the National Focal Point to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and plays a key role in driving climate change policies and plans including climate change adaptation, climate change mitigation, enabling environment, promoting public participation, as well as R&D on climate related topics.
